aggressive vs normal dhcp ??

So i noticed it defaults to aggressive I would think normal would be default seeing it is safer??

Could this happen to be why my uplink on my modem light goes from solid gree to orange? at random that requires a reboot to fix, or is this sign of modem might be faulty?

From what I've gathered it depends on your ISP. That said, I set it to normal a long time ago, and it has recently become the default setting in John's fork which I use. I'd say try it out and see what happens.
