Do you know if AImesh supports "seamless roaming" with only one single router?

I mean...can it use a single router and switch uninterruptably from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz band as soon as the 5Ghz signal strength become too low?

If the router supports SmartConnect, it should influence band selection/steering within that only node. But wireless clients can be dumb/stubborn, so seamless remains to be proven. I have not tried it.

Roaming means handoff the client between different Node or Router.
Band Steering means handoff the client between 2G and 5G in each Node/Router.
