In an AiMesh system (w/Asus models not yet determined but likely to be AC devices), will a “node” device (with only a wireless backhaul) function as a “repeater bridge,” to simultaneously provide BOTH (1) a media bridge to feed wired clients and (2) a WIFI repeater to feed wireless clients?
If not, what other options would provide this functionality?
The two I am aware of (not necessarily using AiMesh) are:
(1) Add another device as a dedicated repeater or media bridge.
(2) Use DDR-WRT for repeater bridge mode.

AiMesh router/nodes/APs support both wired and wireless clients:

AiMesh router/nodes <wire/wireless> clients

AiMesh broadcasts the same band channel and SSID on each router/node/AP.
