Archer C7 v2 vs Archer C5

I've been researching which router to buy and, since I have a preference for TP-Link routers, the C7 v2 looked like a good deal.

However, analysing SNB charts, I've noticed that the C5 excels C7 v2 at basically every aspect, mainly at the 5 GHz charts.

Why is this happening? Isn't C7 v2 bigger 5 GHz link supposed to give better speeds?

Hardware wise, they look almost identical. Perhaps it was firmware, and, or, hardware based. Not overly quick. YMMV.

That still makes no sense. Why should I buy the C7 v2 when the C5 is cheaper and literally better in almost everything?
