ASUS BE89 second router dropping connection

New Around Here
Hello,

I recently updated my network all working fine the second router which is an old WiFi6 router ASUS RT-AX92U set up as an AP it was working fine but then it was unreachable in the ASUS Router App also ASUS Device Discovery doesn't pick it up either and I am wondering if it is possibly incompatible because it is old. It was working fine then all of then all of sudden it was unreachable.

Distance from the main router to where the second router (AP) is 5.51m or 18.1ft I didn't have an issue with the other router but since upgrading the router all of a sudden it went unreachable the LAN LED was on but then it was unreachable I've got range extenders as well because I live in an old house and the bricks a very dense so I need range extenders for wifi, one is located in the kitchen and the other is in the lounge where the other second router (AP) is located and I had the range extender connected via wifi to the second router (AP) it was working fine then it dropped the connection.

I was wondering whether to get a more up-to-date WiFi 7 router to use as an (AP) and range extenders WiFi7 as the ones I have at the moment at WiFi6 which should work perfectly fine. I have set up the old router a few times and it was working and then it stopped.

So just to clarify.

ASUS GTVE98 Main router
RT-AX92U Access Point
ASUS RP-AX58 Repeater Lounge
ASUS RP-AX58 Repeater kitchen

All were connected and I could see all the connections in ASUS Device Discovery then it was unreachable.

Possible solution
I do have a solution I'm not sure if this will work and that would be to set up the RP-AX58 as an AP then connect the RT-AX92U setup up ad modem mode via Ethernet the the range extender setup as an AP. Then just set up the one in the kitchen as just a range extender.
