Hi,
Ive been using Asus Merlin for 2 years now in which every 6 months or so the speed of my 80/20 BT Infinity Speed drops dramatically. If i do a speedtest on speedtest.net i get 75/18 but after 6 months i then get 23/10. The only way i seem to get around it is restoring to factory defaults and then set up as a new router. It doesnt work when i restore from a saved factory settings either. The set up is Openreach Modem - Asus RT-AC87u. Firmware V380.61 I have even connected the BT HH5 as a modem only and still the same speeds and the HH5 states that i get 77.97/19.53. Its startin to get annoying as i around 10 devices set up as static, ddns, VPN, BT TV and overs all to reconfigure. Please can anyone help me?
