New Around Here
I'm looking into backing up some important files, not my entire NAS through rsync to some of my friends pc's remotely who have plenty of space on their drives. Has anyone done this?

I'm trying to decide between using rsync or Crashplan. I figured that rsync would be a good choice since all of the friends that I would connect to use os x or ubuntu. My NAS is ubuntu and I use a macbook. I would also like to use OpenVPN with it as well but I guess that part is for a thread in the VPN section :)
