AdGuardHome - AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Everytime I try to install AdGuard Home, it hangs on starting AdGuard Home ...dead. I have tried many things; switched out my USB drive for a 2.5 inch SSD, didn't work, also tried resetting my router settings to factory default and that also didn't work. I would like to get AGH working, any help...

You have to use curl -L -s -k -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jumpsmm7/Asuswrt-Merlin-AdGuardHome-Installer/master/installer && sh installer into your regular terminal commandline.

This doesn't seem to work any more, I'm getting a weird error message:

One or more critical variables could not be set in a timely manner.

The installer script will now exit.

Not really sure what it's supposed to mean, but yeah, the command fails and the issue in amtm is still there, can't use ag to run the script and update AGH.
