Ah, okay... This one is not available yet. It's hardware equivalent to UCG-Fiber. Wait for matching MikroTik access point if you like MikroTik gateway better. It will be easier to manage compared to mix and match.

Right. Mikrotik is just starting to dip their toes in wifi7. I’m glad they’ve not bandwagoned like some others

I've recently created a setup using an Asus RT-BE86U as an AP with multiple VLANs for my varied SSIDs and I use OpnSense as the DHCP server and use a managed switch. I did have to create a script running on the Asus to get the VLANs for the different SSIDs to work properly especially after reboot which I use with the Merlin FW. I have a VLAN that is for a whole load of my IoT devices but I dont use AI Mesh at all

The RT-AX88U Pro in @heysoundude signature can be used as AP with VLANs as well. I personally don't like mix-and-match, but for cost saving measures and reusing existing equipment it's doable.
