I can tell you this , the gui is lightening fast , no delay at all changing pages and settings . Good connection , now to test transfer rates and if connection drops . Client list works , all 9 devices identified correctly

I'm aware of both the IPTV+PPP issue being fixed and the DMZ page now accepting an empty field to disable the DMS funtionality.

I assume they must have also fixed the wifi stability issues of 246, tho I haven't read any report on this.

Totally get that. That is why I mentioned "in the future when released."

Did not even go to the last one as I could not take the change with my security cameras. Thus I wait for your thoughts on enhancements.

So what has been fixed in 254 ? 252 seems to be working well , just wondering what 254 has to offer ? v

So far 254 is fast , things are a bit faster than 252 , seems worth the upgrade , speed wise . Wyll report on stability as time passes

Transfer rates went down , was getting 11.7 MB/s now getting 7.2-8.6 MB/s , will test some more , looks like 252 had better transfer rates , at least on my setup .
Must be some other interference or something , 252 was just as bad , back to 254 . Will run it a few days , see if it.s stable

I was going to upgrade from .220 to .246 until I heard some of the horror stories about it. Ended up going to .254 from .220 and it seems to be working well at the moment. Had an issue with my Android 2.3.5 phone connecting on 2.4GHz though once I removed its network settings and redid them, it seems to be working without any issue.

The only changes I could see were for Multicast settings in relation to wifi. 254 has the exact same wireless driver as 252.

So far everything works , at least on my system . Rouer is going to revolt one day with all the FW changes I've been making .
