Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n problem

Hello, i am currently using the broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n adapter with DLink dir-825 dual band wireless-n router. My i5 laptop, hp dm4 1050ca, cannot detect the n wireless connectivity only the g wireless connectivity in the wireless connection list. anyone know why that is happening?
