I have an AIMesh system with two routers: RT-AC86U is the main (running firmware 3.0.0.4.386_48260), and an RT-AC68U as an AIMesh node (running firmware 3.0.0.4.386_48262).
My problem is that when I view the list of wireless devices connected to each AIMesh node (via https://router.asus.com:8443/AiMesh.asp), the list incorrectly shows many devices as being offline. I configure a lot of the devices in my house (e.g. smart plugs, wireless cameras, etc.) to run on the Guest network so that I can be confident they don't have intranet access. And, for at least the past couple months, the online/offline status is incorrect for these nodes on the Guest.
It is most obvious on the AIMesh node, where many devices are shown as offline even when I know they are currently connected via that node. (I know they are connected because they are out of range of the main router, and if I unplug the AIMesh node, then they cannot be reached from the main router.)
I have seen similar problems on the main router for some but not all of the Guest devices. It may also be correlated with them being on the 2.4 GHz band. I have not seen problems on the 5 GHz band, but that may be simply because I don't have any devices on Guest that support 5 GHz.
Things I have checked:
I'm not sure when this problem started, but I know it was happening for at least the previous firmware releases, when I was running 3.0.0.4.386_45956 on the 86U and 3.0.0.4.386_46065 on the 68U.
Others have reported similar problems that could be related - see https://www.snbforums.com/threads/a...ent-list-report-unreliable.77370/#post-744164 and https://www.snbforums.com/threads/a...f-but-not-showing-up-in-browser-or-app.75443/
Hoping that someone from ASUS will see this and investigate!

Things I have checked:
- Confirmed that Guest network on AIMesh is set to "All AiMesh nodes"
- Confirmed that Enable radio for the AI Mesh node has both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz activated.
- Checked that the problem doesn't seem to be with my web browser caching the AIMesh page (I turned off the browser cache and refreshed).
- Also the problem appears in the ASUS Router iOS app, which shows 0 devices connected to the AI Mesh node even when that's not the case. So this seems to be a router-side firmware problem.
