Compatibility Findings with AddOns with GT-BE98 Pro

Installation, configuration, and test e-mails work flawlessly on GT-BE9e Pro.

Good for me! Added to the list!

Thanks @visortgw ! I didn't even need to reboot my network 😜 Your a true team player.

An FYI for those who haven't seen the 3006.102_4 alpha post in the Asus-Merlin subforum, several more router models added:
- NEW: Added RT-AX86U_PRO, RT-AX88U_PRO, ZenWifi Pro XT12,
GT-AX6000, GT-AXE16000 and GT-AX11000_PRO to the
3006 firmware series.

FINALLY! Let's go team GT-AX6000!! 🎉

Haven't seen it noted, but I would add that @Martineau's fixes for vnstat now make it work reliably for me on the latest firmware for AX88 and AX86Pro. Neither was starting on a reboot because of a problem with the NTP wait loop. I don't think they've been merged yet.

You would run the following commands:

Code:
/jffs/scripts/spdmerlin develop

/jffs/scripts/connmon develop

/jffs/scripts/ntpmerlin develop

For unbound because it's only the WebUI and there's no update function for just the WebUI, it's a little different:

Code:
curl --retry 3 "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/juched78/Unbound-Asuswrt-Merlin/refs/heads/develop/unboundstats_www.asp" -o "/jffs/addons/unbound/unboundstats_www.asp" && chmod 755 "/jffs/addons/unbound/unboundstats_www.asp"

That will replace the file for unbound; but you will still need to reboot the router to mount the new Webpage.

But replacing that file and then rebooting should do the trick.

/jffs/scripts/YazDHCP develop
/jffs/scripts/YazDHCP forceupdate

connmon:
Code:
/jffs/scripts/connmon develop
/jffs/scripts/connmon forceupdate

spdMerlin:
Code:
/jffs/scripts/spdmerlin develop
/jffs/scripts/spdmerlin forceupdate

ntpMerlin:
Code:
/jffs/scripts/ntpmerlin develop
/jffs/scripts/ntpmerlin forceupdate

I just upgraded to the RT-AX86U Pro and 3006.102.4. My Addons keep disappearing.

If I restart httpd then force refresh the webpage, they load for about one click, then go back to the above.

Is this a known issue? I tried searching httpd and didn't get anything recent.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling scMerlin, otherwise report the issue in that thread for it to be investigated, it's an orphaned add-on and is on life support from the community at this rate.

Unfortunately, that didn't change anything. As soon as I click any link, the other addons disappear from the list and even the one listed (scMerlin) doesn't map properly. It ends up going to MerlinAU.

Here is everything I have installed along with versions.

No issues here on the same firmware version, did you try doing a hard refresh of the browser page? Control+F5 Or Incognito mode?
Another thing to try is rebooting the router to remap the .asp files.

No issues here either. Try uninstalling/reinstalling ALL addons -- update to develop for connmon and spdMerlin.

Factory restore and manual rebuild. scMerlin has recently been fixed for 3006 Merlin.
Do you need all those addons? I have all mine installed but only 3-4 active at any one time.
Of the addons we share, most need updating to "develop" versions as described in their relevant threads.

This was a factory setup. I just replaced my router with the new one out of the box. The first thing I did was flash Merlin and then slowly started setting everything up. I tried uninstalling all the addons that have to be on the develop branch and reinstalling them, but it is still happening. I've also tried rebooting a few times. I try the Shift + click refresh when reloading the webpage. I seem to have to still restart httpd and then use Shift + refresh page.

But you did not uninstall/reinstall ALL addons? That is what I needed to resolve this same issue shortly after transitioning to the GT-BE98 Pro...

Run this:

Code:
awk '/menuName: "Addons"/ {capturing=1} /\]/ && capturing {print; exit} capturing || index($0, "menuName: \"Addons\"") {print}' /tmp/menuTree.js

Send the output back here.
