Ok, I know this can be done but I am a NEWB and VERY inexperienced and have never used putty or SSH. I found a writeup on another forum with most of the details but I am still apprehensive about it. I would like to install crashplan on my Synology NAS as a headless client.
I know there are a lot of technically smart people here and this comes easy to you. If someone has documented or can elaborate on the details and possibly provide a step by step guide I would be uber appreciative!!
My Setup is a Synology DS211J attached to an apple timecapsule and a windows 7 ultimate PC.
