Any software system that requires routine reboots is junk you should run away from as fast as possible. That's a clear indicator of incompetent programming.

It gives you Router Stabilization. Daily rebooting is not bad. Weekly rebooting is ok for me though.

Indeed. If there's a problem that necessitates a reboot then fix the problem, don't just hide it behind a reboot. Worse still, with scheduled reboots you may not even become aware of the problem until it bites you in the butt at the most inconvenient time. Best to be proactive rather than reactive.

The router WebUI interface only binds to ipv4. You can determine this by, netstat -nlp | grep lighttpd Notice that it only binds to tcp and not tcp6, where as your Nas probably binds to both tcp and tcp6 which is why you can access its interface over ipv6 That's too bad the router can't be...
