DLNA Icon Lost

I used to have an ICON when launching to my RT-Ac66u but since .40 I have lost my icon going to my RT-Ac66u DLNA ?

I know its still there I can still select it, just wondering if what I can do to get the ICON back ?

Which Icon are you refering to, the one on Windows boxes like in the attachment?
This would be a Windows failure to show the correct Icon.

When I go to my DLNA Client Either blu-Ray or DVR, the icon is missing, or show that its offline,
Windows shows just fine.

Still, the way I see this it's the client that provides the icon.
If I use DLNA on the iPad (VLC or GoodPlayer) or on Windows in Windows Media Player (god forbid!) it shows the Icon provided by the application and not by the DLNA Server.

I don't think so

I think it's the router which provide the icon.

I'm with .38 and both sony blueray and bubble UPnP on Android shows an icon with the photo of the router.

Also I have another UPnP device which broadcast its own photographic icon.

When the Icon is not avaible than the UPnP controller use its own default icon.

Windows doesn't seems to use router icon but always the default icon.

So if you have no more the router icon.. there's a problem.

I stand corrected. minidlna can provide an icon.
The icon is embedded in the code. Apparently someone has left that part out for the newer asuswrt or Merlin release.

I have posted this issue here in the forum awhile ago but i got no comments.
Yes the asus router icon is gone, all my devices now show a box with an question mark as the icon. The icons are provided by the router.
