DLNA issues

Rmerlin, yes, i know, i using your FW... I have minidlna.conf in scripts... Router create a new partition as (1).

I have the same problem as others having here with NTFS. I then formatted my HDD to EXT3 and still it goes to idle and never scans for new files unless i reboot the router. I even went back to factory default and clear the NVRAm and re-flash the new firmware.

Please somebody help me to change the minidlna.conf. I was trying but did not get success to access the config file via Telnet. I was able to go up to log in to router via telnet. What to do next?

What I want is my DLNA server scan for new file automatically for NTFS or EXT3.

Curently I am using Merlin's 266.24 beta version, just upgraded from .23b to see it makes any different.

Thanks
Sathees

Sorry for late response and appreciate your help. for the "mount" cmd it displays some paths of sys,dev then for next cmd it says "not found"?

Interestingly, it started scanning new files from yesterday (even before doing anything different) for NTFS and EXT3 ( I have 3TB with NTFS, and 2TB with EXT3). Only different i noticed:
Before, DLNA server path in GUI was displayed as "/mnt" even though it scanned all files after reboot but did not scan any new files added after going to "idle".

Now it is mounted as "/mnt/sdb1. Scans new files, available in my tv right after adding new files/folder, even though it still says "idle" for ever.

I really dont know it is because of new Merlin's 266.24 or not. After i flash to this firmware, it did not work for few attempts but suddenly started working???.

As I remember,I did not have this problem in the older versions like .178 (Merlin build)

any idea why?

v266.24b has some experimental kernel fixes for hdd's > 2tb, read the changelog.
If media_dir path is /mnt than db_dir is in /var/cache/minidlna and should be recreated every router reboot.
