DMZ or Aggregate Routing?

I am curious what would be best for gaming and less work-load on a router. I can considering buying another Router if router aggregation would be the best possible solution for gaming and least over-head on the router itself. I guess if I could tell what load my N66U carried in different scenarios it would help. I've tried many different configurations and what seems to be the best vs all other solutions is disabling the firewall and DOS protection without the gaming rig specified in the DMZ.

And if aggregating routers would be best would it be best to go with the same router or a faster one like the AC66U ?

EDIT: I also have my old D-Link 4500 DGL that I used before the N66U that I could possibly use to aggregate, but I'm not sure if it's in 100% working condition

I would also be interested in knowing what would be the best setup for online gaming.

Would there be any difference in latency if connecting PS3 straight to the bridge mode cable modem (350/20 mbps) than connecting through RT-AC66U with DMZ host? There can be 1-3 people using the internet while I'm playing and they all are behind the RT-AC66U. My ISP provides maximum of 5 external IP's so that would not be a problem.

Not sure if this will be any help...but my setup is as follows.


2 laptops (Wireless)
2 PCs , 1 wired , 1 wireless
PS3 (Wireless)
Wii (Hey the kids wanted one) (Wireless)
2 Nintendo DS
2 NAS (Wireless)
Wifi Printer
2 iPhones
2 Tablets

Never had any problems connecting to the network or slowdowns on any of the devices , even with every single device working at the same time.

The only thing I turned off from the standard N66U setup was the DOS protection option , the Firewall is on , DMZ is not used and the DS use the guest network for the lower encryption needed.
