Hi

Following flashing my AC86U with Merlin, I'm trying my hand at setting up PXE from my TFTP enabled NAS for Windows installs. I am new to some of the concepts, but I've read I need at least DHCP options 66 and 67 configured in a config file called dnsmasq.conf.

Q1. Should the file be named dnsmasq.conf.add, or dnsmasq.conf? I think I've seen it written both ways, so I'd like to confirm.
Q2. Is the following addresses and paths formatted correctly? I wasn't sure if I needed quotes around values (xxx for some essence of privacy ).

Use the dnsmasq.conf.add file to append the dhcp-options that you want. Make sure the file is in /jffs/configs

For your second question, the example shown at https://thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/docs/dnsmasq-man.html shows quotes being used for option 66. Try it with quotes and see if you get any errors.
