I saw and did that option, but when I ping the Asus AC66 with -f -l 4000 or 9000,no replay from the router, only ping successful with 1500.

Any idea ?

No idea. Personally I don't bother with jumbo frames, as it's a nightmare to get working properly on an entire LAN. A single device that does not support JF will cause a lot of issues, and in the end you won't gain that much out of it.

My Jumbo Frames experiments on my LAN lasted only a couple of days, then I gave up. My HTPC would never work properly, partly due to bugs in the Realtek NIC it uses.

All thing to do is allow the mtu of br0 or eth0 (lan interface) to be increased by 9000.
Could you allow this in firmware ?
{Ifconfig br0/eth0 mtu 9000}
I don't understand why it's possible on the wan interface and NO in lan.

Just updated AC68U from current ASUS firmware to Asuswrt-Merlin 378.51 and it cut my download speeds from 30 to 1mbps. Anyideas, Ive pretty much run my ASUS at original settings other than changing mac address to force a new IP from TW. Im interested in trying the VPN updates but havent touched them yet.

I have the same problem too!!!!
And just last nightI managed to solve it by enabling the jumbo frame on Asuswrt-Merlin 378.53 (asus rt-n66u)
Might be a bug?
