ebtables bug: please report to author

In my syslog of 266.23b I found the following line:

Jan 1 01:00:27 kernel: Ebtables v2.0 registered
Jan 1 01:00:27 kernel: kernel msg: ebtables bug: please report to author: match->check failed

What does that message mean?

Sorry - didn't find a possibility to cancel that post - I've seen now that this was a known bug that has been fixed in 266.24 Beta...
