i know i was hoping someone has and can share experience with jbod/raid0 with asus routers i cant seem to find a straight answerFYI, You have necroposted to a five plus year old discussion on the RT-AC86U. The RT-AX86U is a different significantly newer router model.
kool, i dont mind, i have plenty of backups just wanted to try something different ssd in jbod and/or raid0 mechanical HDI have experience with corrupted files and partitions without JBOD/RAID on Asus routers… if it helps. Straight answer - not the best device to plug your HDDs into, this is a home router and not a NAS. If you value the data - find better options.
I got terramaster dn-310 with 2x 2tb ssd in JBOD, so far im getting 115mb/s write speed so far so goodEnclosures like this do JBOD/RAID internally and independent of the device they are plugged into.
