Dear All
My TAURUS LAN has died, but i reckon the drive (single drive) is still ok coz it spins up etc. This was an EXT2 formatted drive. Is there any way to get the data off the drive, do I just plug into a SATA controller on a unix intel box or what ?? I cant afford thousands to pay a company to do this for me

help

Yes you should be able to the drive in another computer that can read ext2 formatted disks. You might also be able to just put your disk in a computer that is running windows and read it that way. Provided you install Ext2 IFS for Windows. Here's the link... http://www.fs-driver.org/ I have never tried this so I really am not sure how well it would work.
