After a year or more away from OpenVPN, I decided to try if my devices still connected to 12_alpha1 with the old configurations. I got all kinds of errors from Windows laptops, because Microsoft deprecated wmic.exe. I updated to a 2.7 client, and then had no issues connecting to both 12_alpha1 and 102.6 routers.
