Initial Router Setup - Error with Amazon.com

teck182

New Around Here
Hey folks,

I recently installed and setup the AC66U following the basic router setup instructions. Prior to setting up the AC66U I had no problems with navigating the web, however, with the AC66U now setup we are unable to stay logged in to our Amazon.com account. We can log in to the account but the moment we navigate back to Amazon's home page or do a random product search we are booted out of the account.

In order to troubleshoot this, I have to disconnect the AC66U and directly connect my laptop to the ISP. Once my laptop is directly connected to the ISP we stay logged in to Amazon.com. Then the moment we reconnect the AC66U to the network as a router we begin to experience the problem mentioned above.

Any recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Odd, I use Amazon daily with my AC66u and have never seen this happen. Try wiping all temporary internet files from your browser and lowering the cookie security. If that fails try an alternative browser.

Also, your using dated firmware for the AC66u, upgrade to the latest version just to rule out issues with the router.

Just installed FireFox and navigated to Amazon.com.... I'm able to remain logged in using FireFox but IE is unable to remain logged in while going thru the AC66U.

It's good to know that FireFox will work but it's a little peculiar that IE is unable to remain logged in to Amazon.com while going thru the AC66U.
