Latest version of firmware - iOS asus router app not working

I upgraded to the latest version of firmware on my RT-AC5300 and now I can't connect to it from my Asus router app on my iPhone. I am connected to the wifi but when I launch the app it can't find any asus routers.

Which version of Merlin's firmware were you running before the upgrade, and do you feel you've been running the latest version long enough for any other possible problems to show up?

Do you run any networking apps, such as Network Toolbox, on your 'iPhone, and if so, does a network scan show all devices including the router?

Please be specific to what firmware version your using. "Latest version" is meaningless. Also post the version of the iOS app.

I have the same problem. When searching for the router currently connected to, following message appear:

No ASUS router found. Please make sure your ASUS router is powered on.

Iphone 6 IOS 10.3.3
RT-AC5300 3.0.0.4.380_7743
ASUS Router app 1.0.0.0.61

I have changed the SSID name from the default ASUS_XX but that should not have any issues in my opinion.

@King Lear Jet you are in the wrong forum it looks to me that you are using Asus stock firmware. Try Merlin to see if the same problem exists for you still. Make sure to reset to factory defaults after the flash. Try the app with a minimum configuration on the router. Then add your special settings and watch to see what breaks it.
