Hi,
This is my first post here, to bad its about an issue!
My AC68U has performed perfectly for a long time. I am upgrading and was going to be setting it up
for a new owner. Its still running my home network right now.
So I did a firmware update to todays available version 3.0.0.4.380_7743 to start things rolling on my late 2013 Macbook pro. The hottest model at the time.
Now, whenever I logon with https and using port 8443, my cpu skyrockets, temp skyrockets and I have to close the page. Occasionally, I get in and then bingo it ramps up again! The HTTP login works just fine.
My wife's lesser 2013 Mac has no issues!
So, before I go crazy digging, does this seem familiar to anyone? I'm already very hot, burnt and blown away from dealing with this BS on a warm summer day and I'm jumping in the shower and going for a run!
I've been a computer engineer for over 30 years so there is really nothing stupid on my Mac.
I just tried turning off my A/V and that didn't help!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Ross
