miniDLNA and DSD Support

Hello,

I am curious if DSD support will be included in miniDLNA in a future firmware update of merlin? I am using an RT-AC86U.

Is there a step by step guide on how to add DSD support to miniDLNA? I have not been able to find a guide.

Thank you, I have read that post but I am not sure how to compile the the DLNA source into the firmware code. I don’t want to make a mistake that would break the router. This is why I was hoping for a step by step guide.

Asus has made too many extensive changes to the minidlna code over the years, it's too difficult to merge any newer changes from upstream now since both code bases are quite different.

I am attempting to apply the patch referenced in the above link. I receive the message:

can’t find file to patch at input line 16

After displaying lines 1 to 15 of the patch file there is a prompt:

File to patch:

I am not sure what file to patch?
