More on asd...

Well, I've been running with symlinks rather than bind mounts for a week and there have been no phantom deletions.

So I've switched one of them back to bind mounts to see what happens.

....and at 08:25 this morning the files on the bind-mount system were all removed.

The symlink'ed ones are still OK, so I'll switch to using symlinks everywhere. (I've added a pathname-mapping option to my editor, so that is uses and displays the shortter pathnames that I'm "really" using).

Looks as though Asus are using pathnames rather than checking the device things are on when checking. Which I suppose fits in with the fact that they are checking the names of files, rather then their contents. Sloppy.
