"New feature available" pop-up

Out of nowhere starting today (10/13/29) whenever I log into my router or refresh the page I am getting a "New feature available" popup going off about AiMesh.

The popup is controlled by an nvram flag - if it reappears, then it means something is preventing the "already seen" flag from being set in nvram. Make sure your nvram isn't full.

Then I don't know why the flag wouldn't get saved. Make sure your browser isn't interferring with the proper functioning of the webui.

I don't think Asus has made any change to that code for a year or so.

I just noticed this morning. I'm currently using fw 384.13 on RT-AC86U

It usually happens to me if I have stale login credentials.

Check the traffic analyzer page. If that fails to render properly, then its likely the same thing I get. Manually log out with the logout button, then log back in.
