No Asus app

After resetting and re-configuring my 56U the app won't work anymore. Remote access is off but this was the case before, can't figure what has caused this. It says "authentication failed" when I try to log in but the user name/password is correct. I remember the threads about remote access being dangerous so made sure it was off before. Any guesses?

That was it, ty! Forgot to change that after reset.

Is there a way to disable HTTPS from the app? I can no longer access the router directly via 192.168.1.1

I went through the trouble to reassign AiCloud to use port 7443 instead of 443 so that I could assign 443 for HTTPS access for the GUI and no longer specify the port.

See http://192.168.1.1/cloud_settings.asp (or https://192.168.1.1:8443/cloud_settings.asp if you’ve disabled http access).

I also always do this. Saves a lot of hassle long term!
