A lot of changes under the hood, but not much in the way of new features. I'd recommend giving this version a look if your hardware wasn't previously supported, or an annoying bug put you off earlier.

Nice. I guess I'll give it another shot. The whole "not booting from USB CD" made it difficult to update, and impossible to install.

Did the upgrade on my laptop a few days ago, went smoothly.
I see SNORT is now supported as an add-on, they had problems with it in earlier releases.

But yeah, not much else in the way of new features. Eager for 1.3...but that's quite a way down the road.
