hello, gonna be upgrading my network soon and giving away my Asus rt-ac86u and 4 ai mesh nodes ( 2 router ZenWiFi-AC-Mini-CD6 and 2 regular nodes) , Long story short I will be giving the router and nodes to my family but they asked me to setup the router for them with the nodes in AI mesh wired by lan , obviously setups vary depending on environment but they live 20 minutes away and use the same isp as me so I know what to expect , Im still using it now but I have altered alittle bit of the settings that I think would be most efficient and reliable for about 40-50 devices including gaming devices so that I won't have to drive down or remotely connect everytime they are having problems. please advise on what you may change or alter for a better and far more reliable experience , thanks!-

Some more images.. USB mode is set to 2.0 too and afew things disabled like ICMP, IPv6 ( available but not worth keeping on due to being underused by 60% of the population ) I also have FlexQOS on right now for testing purposes but I will most probably remove it and nuke reset the router and nodes before setting them up again , thanks again

The settings are okay, you can enable 802.11ac Beamforming on 5GHz band, it's part of specifications. Move the set as it is, change the SSIDs and the passwords to whatever they use. It will perhaps work the same way, good or bad. Use only the needed number of nodes.

I was advised it causes more problems then gives benefits? interested on your reasoning for enabling it which sounds tempting now for me

Because you use the same radio for backhaul and the nodes definitely support it. It may potentially improve the quality of the backhaul.
