I currently have a "wireless phone jack" in my house (Phonex Px-211). I need to get better networking to the family room for the PS3 (its 11g wireless signal is fairly weak).

I presume that the phone jack uses the power line for transmission. Will this interfere with using a powerline networking product?

Edit: Actually, now that I look over the (fairly vague!) product page, it looks like these phone jacks may transmit at FM frequencies. If that's the case, nevermind.

Edit 2: Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum; I was thinking about another post and accidentally dropped this one in the wrong place.

Thanks!

Phoneline extenders and homeplug networking use entirely different methods. They should keep clear of each other.
