can we get a fix for 3G/4G dongles on the latest builds.. it's stop working with 384.x?

as this post and another post yesterday about it.

Uploaded this firmware to my 86U and now Im getting this?

I'm getting hit with these, too. No ports are open and ssh is only enabled on LAN.

dont worry about those scans its just port scans from multiple servers around the world for netcore router vulnerabilities.. i have 100+ hits for these i checked some of the ip's and some are from are digital ocean, vultr etc.. and many other poplar cheap vps providers... just kiddies on cheap vps's looking for vulnerabilities.

Yes, be glad that AiProtection actually caught them at the router!

Can this version be used in an aimesh environment? As I noticed that applying this version to one of the node's made that node not discoverable anymore. I tried rebooting and a power cycle start, no luck. This is occuring on an rt- ac5300

Just to add, on resetting the ac5300 back to factory and getting back into the GUI there is no option to select aimesh as part of its operation mode, I was able to confirm that this alpha was indeed the routers current firmware
That would be very disappointing if there is no AiMesh support from Merlin firmware. Merlin mentioned technical support, I really wonder what that means

From the last changelog :
- NOTE: AiMesh is currently not supported. Feasability of supporting it is still under evaluation.

The highlights:
Due to its complexity, a lot of work will be required to determine whether or not supporting it is possible. Initial analysis wasn't looking good on that front.

I think this is clear for the moment :)

I noticed this in the logfile on my 86U... Just reporting it.....

I think that's a kernel crash, had a few of those and had to manually reboot for things to work again properly.

Anything installed like Transmission, Skynet?

I actually just noticed that QOS statistics and web history tabs don't output anything on my AC5300. Has anyone else had this happen theirs as well?

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I also have this issue since 384 beta 3. I'm now on 384.3 stable, and the QoS stats page shows up fine, but the web history doesn't. I've cleared the browser cache, rebooted the router (AC68U), and even did a factory reset. No luck so far.

Amazing job, one suggestion,

Any chance to put one ''space'' to fill the name of the DNS in the DNS filter tab?

We only have a place to save 3 DNS addresses, but with no field to type the name of the DNS, example:

Custom ( User defined ) DNS 1 / space to type the name of the DNS server/provider / field with the dns number 185.228.168.168

It´s a little improvemtn, but would be amazing to save it and know which one is the DNS that we want to save for X device...

does any one else have an issue with ssh trying to ssh into the router? im using an 88U

Alpha2 now works fine when establishing wifi channel.

PDT: In 87u it works well ssh ( Vexira )

MAC filter page looks correct on alpha 2.

Still have router shares showing on my network that shouldn't be though.

These are my settings

Alpha 2 running fine on my RT-AC86U. IPSec appears on the VPN pages now, but I haven't tested it.

Iast Friday, my ISP wasnt behaving so I was forced to use my android phone as a dongle and all was working fine with the latest 384.3 stable.
