Printer Offline - AC66U

Oops....typo....meant to title this thread "Printer Offline - AC56U".....

I have the AC56U a single function B/W Brother Laser printer (HL-2240) hooked up to the usb 2.0 port.

I don't often print, so I only turn the printer on when i need to. However, after a day or so, it will no longer print. Windows shows it as offine and the Asus printer Utility can't find anything. However, the web config of the router says its connected. I also have one system setup to print via the LPR method....neither will work until the router is rebooted...then it prints out what i had sent to it.

I am on stock firmware 3.0.0.4.374_158

I think is the printer issue, I also have brother printer and I have the same problem on my N56u and ac68r routers. I need to remove it and setup a new printer every few weeks
