Targeting small and medium businesses, Qnap introduced two new tower-based NAS product lines, all powered by quad-core AnnapurnaLabs Alpine AL-314 1.7 GHz processors. Both series support snapshots for data recovery (thanks to QTS 4.3.4) and get the option to boost performance with SSD caching.

TS-x31P2 series is available in 2-bay and 4-bay models with 1 GB and 4 GB RAM configurations (max 8 GB), support hot-swappable 2.5”/3.5” SSDs or HDDs, and include two GbE interfaces and two USB 3.0 ports.
    Available models include:
    • TS-231P2-1G: 2-bay, 1GB DDR3 RAM
    • TS-231P2-4G: 2-bay, 4GB DDR3 RAM
    • TS-431P2-1G: 4-bay, 1GB DDR3 RAM
    • TS-431P2-4G: 4-bay, 4GB DDR3 RAM
The TS-431X2 series are 4-bay NAS devices that come in either 2 GB or 8 GB RAM configurations, support hot-swappable 2.5”/3.5” SSDs or HDDs, and include one 10 GbE SFP, two GbE interfaces, and two USB 3.0 ports.
    Available models include:
    • TS-431X2-2G: 4-bay, 2GB DDR3 RAM
    • TS-431X2-8G: 4-bay, 8GB DDR3 RAM
Both series are available now. Pricing for the TS-231P2 and TS-431P2 was not available at this time. Same goes for the pricing of the TS-431X2, however you can find the 8 GB version on Amazon for $691.99.
