I think it has some excellent ideas that may help someone protect their data. For example, I have built a virtual machine where most of the data is not resident on the qcow2 files, but on NFS mounts to the QNAP. In this manner, the VM size stays small (40 Gb) and is easy to backup with fiber internet and OneDrive account offering 1 Tb storage.
