M maxsteel Regular Contributor Nov 14, 2016 #1 Hi Guys I already have QoS "Adaptive" setup up on my Asus router. Since I have PPPoE connection, the MTU I use is 1492. Should I change the value of MTU back to the default 1500 due to enabling QoS or use the current 1492? Thank you,

sfx2000 Part of the Furniture Nov 14, 2016 #2 Leave it where it is - the MTU is the WAN side, your QOS is on the LAN side, no problems there (yes, I'm over simplifying things, but let's not go down the rathole of tweaks that might work for some, but not others)
