Random disconnection of multiple devices

I have a ax88u and ax58u node on aimesh. Both on 386.3_2. I have around 40~ devices connected at all times ranging from lightbulbs to pcs. On occasion some of my devices would lose usually the 5G network and then can't reconnect. I would see the device number all of a sudden drop to 25 devices from 40, a big dip. They would say unable to obtain IP address and other sorts of issues. This just happened with my S8 but i was able to reconnect after jumping to 2.4 Ghz and then back to 5Ghz. I pasted the system logs from that time frame. Not sure if anything stands out or other logs are needed.

From my experience it seems my ax88u has a habit of dropping all 5ghz devices while keeping 2.4ghz devices on it but i haven't see the same issue on the ax58u.

I am actually having same/similar issue. AX88U running latest Merlin (386.8 at time of writing) and two AiMesh routers running stock (latest) FW (one AC68U and one AX92U)

A couple of similarities:

1. I do have many devices, 84 currently connected at time of writing, many smart relays (mainly Shellys)
2. The device I am noticing this on first is my Phone, a S21 i.e. also Samsung on 5GHz (and WiFi 6). I do however think that this is an issue that is not related to "a Samsung phone" as my daughters Acer laptop also got disconnected once, at the same time as my phone this weekend.
3. I am also experiencing "json_object_from_file: error opening file /jffs/nmp_vc_json.js: No such file or directory", and a lot of them. I'd say several per minute at times. Haven't figured out what they mean yet..
4. I also have experienced firewall (and QoS) restarts like you did in your example log: "custom_script: Running /jffs/scripts/firewall-start (args: eth0)"
   1. Also uninstalled YazDHCP
5. I have removed DHCP work load from the AX88U, just to remove as much as possible to exclude possible error sources. (On a RPi running PiHole now)
6. I tried disabling custom scripts. Didn't help so I re-enabled again to be able to log to external log server.
7. Disabled Roaming Assistant on both 2.4 and 5 GHz (as some people have experienced issues and some stating RA should not be needed when using modern AiMesh)
8. Have setup a Graylog Server just to be able to collect and work with these logs from the router . So upside is I now have a very competent log infrastructure in place...

Nothing have helped so far. As you can see, very much work in progress when it comes to troubleshooting, but I'd be very interested in knowing if you found a solution that might have helped you.
