I just got this router, and wanted to know if anyone knew the recommended wireless settings on this router, to maximize performance?

What kind of tweaks or settings did you change to achieve better performance?

The simple and straight forward guidance is: Rest to defaults (via WPS button) and change only what you really need (e.g. encryption, channel no., etc.)!

In case of problems or slow speed: Search and read the forum!

There is no "one size fit's all" solution for the best WLAN performance.
