RT-AC68p has no disc

I recently purchased a refurbished ASUS RT-AC68p from New Egg. The unit appears not to have a installation disc. Question: Is this important or can I just download everything from Asus website.

Everything disc has can be found online on their site.

You don't need it. I don't think I've ever used an installation disk in 20 years.

Thanks, the reason I asked is that sometimes the software on the disc cannot be found on the website. My Epson Artisan printer for example has a OCR software on disk that isn't downloadable from Epson. My wife's Bamboo tablet comes with Adobe Element, that isn't downloadable from the vendor.

Yeah, these routers aren't really like that. Printers are the worst but even with them you can almost always get away with throwing away the disc.
