RT-AC68u will not flash firmware

ASW

New Around Here
I am using an Asus Rt-AC68u as an Access Point that currently is running Merlin 374.39 firmware. When I try to update the firmware, everything looks OK, but the router stays on 374.39. I have tried the ASUS recovery tool, and I get a fail message on loading the updated firmware. Any suggestions?

You are using a Jurassic Park FW version, you can't update to the latest FW due to CFE size limitation, do a progressive version upgrade and it will work, 376 (376.45) version will upgrade the CFE to new size and that will allow you to upgrade to newer versions.

Try 376, 378 and then 380.

Jurassic Park FW version. Instant classic. :)

Update to 378.55 first.
