Sorry, I can't help you. My earlier comment was in relation to an off-topic discussion about John's forked firmware. It's not applicable to the RT-AX88U.

I bought my RT-AX88U from Currys.co.UK (aka PC World) and it came with UK and EU plugged power leads.

Just SSH'd and checked for you > nvram show | /bin/grep -E "ccode|country_code"

came back with:
1:ccode=DE
2:ccode=DE
size: 60165 bytes (70907 left)
wl0_country_code=DE
wl1_country_code=DE
wl_country_code=

So nothing to worry about...
