My VPN use is not about tracking/privacy, it's rather location.I have yet to use a VPN aside from using TOR years ago. In that case it was on dial-up and even then the increased latency was unwelcome. I guess I could see using a VPN if you were on an unsecured WIFI somewhere, doing what I never do on my "phone".
