RT-N66U, Dual Wan question?

I'm running Merlin Firmware. My discounted 15/1 cable internet feed will be up for renewal in February. The network is over subscribed. During the day speed is good. In the evenings I am lucky to get 3mb speed out of my 15mb connection. I was thinking of subscribing to 6mb DSL and leveraging the load balancing options of Dual Wan mode, perhaps even dropping the cable feed speed since they can't provide what they offer. If I got two 6mb feeds, one from DSL, one from cable, would load balancing make the thru put look like better than 6mbps or would it just feel like a 6mb connection? I'm not sure I fully understand how Dual Wan works? Thanks, Steve

It won't load balance between a single client. It will with two or more.

So yes, it will still feel at max, like a 6Mbps connection at any one time for any single user.
