RT-N66U - USB Mounting issue

I was hoping to run some utilities from a USB drive that I own, but, when I formatted the drive and plugged it into my RT-N66U I noticed the following:

At this point, I have tried formatting it again, but still receive the same issue.

I am on Firmware Version 380.67

I suspect the people who have the knowledge to help you will want to know some specifics as to the USB drive, how it was formatted and what applications you're hoping to run on it; perhaps you would be so kind as to include those now for their convenience.
