RT87U no permannet OC ?

Hi,

i oc with:

nvram set clkfreq=1200,800
nvram commit

then i check the settings and get 1200 mhz, in webui and per nvram check. Router works fine ...

But after rebooting the value is still 1000 mhz ...

Any idea?

I am under RT-AC87U, 380.57_alpha4-gb5eb46f, Bootloader 1.0.3.2.

New ASUS FW binary blobs are the reason for that happening and its not a model specific, it happens on all models using latest FW version.

Hm, okay.
should be solved by using a script workaround?
That is my idea:

#!/bin/sh

sleep 4

nvram set clkfreq=1200,800
nvram commit

chmod a+rx /jffs/scripts/services-start
