New Around Here
Hi guys I need some help. I currently have the following gear, Dlink 655 wireless router and a Netgear ProSafe JGS524 switch. From my Windows Vista 32 server computer I have 2 cat 6 giga port teamed connections to the router. From the router I have 1 cat 6 to the switch. To the switch I have my other home automation computers and my SageTV extenders (to stream HD TV and movies). I still think I see some hesitation when trying to stream multiple HD signals through the network. Is there anything more I can do to optimize the setup - ie having my teamed cable to the switch instead of the router or even splitting the teamed cables, 1 to the router, 1 to the switch (is this even possible)? Is my switch just not up to the task? Any other thoughs?

Thanks for your help.

Are all connections Gigabit Ethernet?

How many is "multiple" (for the HD streams) and what bitrates?
