Hi Adamm and @Jack Yaz

I am having the same issue as @Treadler .
Skynet tab will not show. Force update on Skynet and connmon multiple times.
Connmon tab is showing and working most of the time but will sometimes display the wrong page.

Hope these logs will provide a clue.
As always, thank you for all of your hard work!

There was a bug I identified in Jacks scripts which I believe to be the root cause, please update them accordingly and reboot.

I've also pushed v7.0.7

Code:
Significiantly improve debugging output and include WebUI tests
Notify user logging needs to be enabled for WebUI stats

I have now updated both scripts but skynet is now unable to start.

IPSets | [Failed]
IPTables Rules | [Failed]

I have no debug file in that location. (sh: can't open '/jffs/scripts/debug')

I ran a fore update again and rebooted. Skynet is now running but still no tab in UI.
Ran print debug info from menu and got:

I have no debug file in that location. (sh: can't open '/jffs/scripts/debug')

sh /jffs/scripts/firewall debug info - Is what I meant (which it seems like you figured out :p)

Are you sure your looking under the right tab? The tests all passed meaning it should be there (its listed under the firewall section of the WebUI)

That’s the logging output Skynet produces to generate stats, Skynet prunes these logs every hour and moves them to their own file.

I’m surprised you’ve only just noticed this now but this can be disabled by disabling logging under settings.

Sorry, I deleted my post because when I updated my AX88U (Skynet) to v7.0.7, I was getting the same errors. Namely: IPSets | [Failed] &
IPTables Rules | [Failed].

However, after I did a forced install and waited for MUCH longer than is the norm, all started working again.

I have also updated my parents AC87U remotely, and had the same issue. But, again, resolved now after another force install and patients!

FYI. I know that the Skynet UI is not available on the AC87U as it is running an unsupported version of Merlin.

Thank you for your feedback. :)
But if I turn off the logging in the settings, does this mean that statistics are no longer displayed in the WebUi?
I find so same many messages in the syslog very confusing, and other entries may be lost. That's why it bothers me.

Correct.

Skynet purges the syslog every hour or whenever you manually run a command.

Perhaps this will be revised or changed in one of the upcoming versions. Preferably without constant messages in the syslog but with the great statistics overview in the WebUi.

Unfortunately this is impossible to avoid without using another script like Scribe to manage your syslog.

is there plan to generate stats in some time interval as is in diversion ?

They are automatically refreshed every 12 hours and when the script starts up.

You need the newest alpha build for your router. 384.15_Alpha1

Dear all,
I observed a stange behavior with skynet in combination with the x3mrouting script. After updating skynet the specific routing to the different vpnclients worked normally. After rebooting, all traffic was through VPN1 , although mostly should be routed to VPN4.

If I force skynet to update again, the orgininal (wanted) situation is there again, till I boot the router again.
I first thought it was a change in the x3mrouting script, but it seems to be, that I could be related with the latest changes in skynet (maybe)?

Any idea what could happen or what I could test to get it done without any additional manual work after rebooting of the router ?

(If you restart Skynet via AMTM it works at it should. Could there be a conflict with x3mrouting?)

Thanks a lot for your support.

Hugo.
